We're Here to Help
What happens after I apply for a position?
If you meet all of the basic qualifications listed on the job posting, your résumé will be reviewed by a member of our Talent Sourcing Team – we promise, there's no black hole! Regardless of the outcome, you'll hear back from us to understand next steps in the process. Learn more about our recruiting process here.
How do I learn about future job openings?
Can I apply for a position that is not (yet) posted?
Unfortunately, no. We can only take applications and résumés for open positions through this careers website. Signing up for our Talent Network does allow you to be among the first notified when new positions are posted that are most relevant to you. You can also complete a candidate profile within our applicant tracking system, so when you apply for a position with us in the future, your application will take less time to complete.
If I see a posted position I'm interested in, but I don't necessarily meet all of the requirements listed, is it worth applying?
We require every person to meet each basic qualification in order to be considered for any of our positions. But, please don't be discouraged. We have hundreds of jobs we hire for each year, and by joining our Talent Network, that's a great way to make sure we can stay in touch and keep you looped in with new opportunities as they become available. While landing a job on the first application you submit with us isn't a guarantee, we recommend being selective with the positions you apply for and how often you apply. Hint: Consider only the ones that truly fit you best!
I recently applied to a job. How can I check the status of my application?
You'll receive an automated confirmation that your information was received after successfully applying. If you do not receive this confirmation, there's a chance your application wasn't received. If that's the case, please contact our support line at NesCareersSupport@icareerhelp.com. After receiving the confirmation email, you'll hear back from our Talent Sourcing Team as to whether or not you are selected to move forward in our recruiting process. Can employees really bring their pets to work?
Yes! Pets are welcome at work every day at our St. Louis Headquarters office near downtown, however, not at our factories or at all of our satellite locations. For the locations where pets are welcome, they must be “approved” through our Pets-in-the-Workplace Program, which ensures good health and behavior of the pet.
When do you begin recruiting for internships and entry-level positions?
Most years, we offer robust summer internships for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as positions for recent graduates that fall within our Management Development Program on the manufacturing side of the business. When we do recruit for these roles, we begin almost an entire year prior (beginning sometime between May and July) for roles that start the following summer. This allows plenty of time for students to secure an internship or full-time job before approaching the end of the academic year or graduation.
