The Customer Service/Order Management department, also known as Order Revenue Management (ORM), houses four critical functions: Order Processing, Accounts Receivable, Dispute Management and Vendor Managed Inventory. Associates progress through a certification program within this department to become experts at their required tasks, which collectively initiate and execute the entire life cycle process of a customer order. Although several key individuals are involved in the development of our products from concept to completion, associates within the ORM department serve, in many instances, as the "Face of Purina" to the customer.

Common Positions

ORM Associate

While working as an ORM Associate, you'll complete three to four 6-month rotations to focus on and develop a deep understanding of the four departmental functions – accounts receivable, customer service, dispute management and vendor managed inventory. After this two-year training period of cross-functionally driven work, you'll move into the ORM Analyst role with opportunities to move further up in ORM or throughout other areas of the company.

ORM Analyst

As an ORM Analyst, your extensive experience within the primary functions of the department will allow you to successfully manage and oversee each function from start to finish.

Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for managing, planning and leading a high performance team of associates and overseeing all efforts to maximize department contribution for working capital and internal growth.

ORM Manager

As a Manager, you'll be responsible for managing, planning and leading a high performance regional team of ORM associates, analysts, business process improvement (BPI) leaders and team leaders to successfully execute the entire life cycle process of a customer order.

Who We're Looking For

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts from an accredited institution OR 4+ years of experience in one of the following areas:

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
  • Deduction Management
  • Order Processing
  • Customer Service
