Finance and Accounting manages company-wide operations such as accounting, consolidating and reporting results, business planning, and forecasting. This groups acts as a business partner with key internal customers, proactively identifying opportunities and risks, evaluating their impact, and recommending solutions that help drive company performance

Common Positions

Product Fixed Marketing Expenditure (PFME) Analyst

As a PFME Analyst, you'll work as a business partner with Purina's Marketing group to oversee and ensure end-to-end advertising and promotion spending, which includes budgeting, forecasting, and seeing processes through to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and accurately reported on the profit and loss statement.

Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant, you'll work cross-functionally to process journal entries from all business units, and maintain general ledger transactions within our enterprise resource program (SAP). You'll also contribute significantly to the overall accuracy of our financial reporting process.

Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, you'll be responsible for utilizing financial best practices to share analyses and perform projects that are used by their assigned business unit (department) to drive top business results. You'll have different emphases ranging from a focus on technical financial analysis to functions that support the marketing groups in a more strategic manner.

Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager, you'll be at a senior level responsible for applying financial knowledge and customer insight to achieve targeted goals. Additionally, you'll share similar responsibilities to that of financial analysts and generally involve increased scope and responsibility, including managing people.

Who We're Looking For

For some financial reporting roles, a strong technical accounting background (including certification) is necessary, but general analytical and problem solving skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, effective communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset make for a great fit within our team.
