Business-Casual Dress Code

You'll find some of us prefer to be dressier and others prefer to be more business casual. It's important to come every day dressed professionally, but we want you to feel comfortable — wear your style!

Pets in the Workplace — every day!

All full-time and part-time associates at our Purina Headquarters in St. Louis, MO and sales offices are encouraged to bring their pets to work with them. Keeping our associates and pets safe and healthy is a top priority for us, so you'll be asked to apply through our "Pets in the Workplace" program to ensure your pet(s) qualifies to join us at work.

Medical Center

At our St. Louis Headquarters, you can swing by the onsite medical center daily between 8:00am and 4:30pm to treat minor illnesses, or to receive flu shots, allergy shots, blood pressure checks, blood draws, consultations and sessions with a Registered Dietician. We also offer free CPR classes.

Child Development Center

Located just across the street from our St. Louis Headquarters, "The Center" provides many of our associates' children (from six weeks to six years old) with educational and social development. Kids are taught Spanish, computer skills, gymnastics, swimming and experience various off-site field trips. *Please note: This is a tremendous convenience for our associates, although not a free service. Library & Information Services Center

In service since 1929 and located in one of our research buildings, our Library and Information Services Center is available daily to provide us with printed resources, electronic publications and databases to help us excel in all areas/disciplines. Fitness Center

You can opt in for membership at $10 per month (deducted from your paycheck) to have access to a fully-equipped gym in the Tower building of our campus headquarters, which is open early in the morning through the early evening hours. It includes state-of-the-art cardio equipment, weight-lifting machines and a free-weights/stretching area, as well as a weekly schedule of group fitness classes (yoga, boot camp, sculpt, step, dance, etc.)

Company Store

Our Nestlé Purina Company Store, sells many of our pet food, snacks and litter varieties at a discounted price. Also available are a variety of Nestlé products for us humans, branded Nestlé Purina merchandise and pet care accessories.

Paid Time Off

We all need some quality "me" time. And occasionally we (or our family members) get sick. You'll accrue earned paid time off each month to take necessary time. Additionally, you'll enjoy several paid holidays and two "floating" days of your choice.

Parent Support Policy

Supporting our associates extends beyond the average work day. Recognized as one of the most progressive policies for our industry, Purina is proud to offer up to 14 weeks of paid leave for a designated primary caregiver. Primary caregivers can elect up to 12 more weeks for a potential total of 26 weeks. Should you adopt a child, we're proud to help you cover the costs of adoption. Please note: there are some variances in program details for specific employee groups.

Pet Adoption Program

Every pet deserves a loving home. And if you plan to get a dog or cat, whether from a breeder or from a rescue organization, we give you $200 to help offset the cost of bringing a pet into your home.

Infant Formula Program

If you have an infant up to 12 months old, you'll receive 32 store coupons for any type of Nestlé Infant Formula — compliments of being part of the Nestlé family.

Education Reimbursement Program
