Manufacturing provides the opportunity to work in either a pet food or litter manufacturing facility. You'll be responsible for key elements including Safety, Product Quality, Health and Environmental aspects, customer service, cost control, and waste reduction in terms of material, time, and energy.

Common Positions


As a member of our Engineering team at our Manufacturing facilities you'll have a role in the management of expense and capital projects that implement new or upgraded equipment in order to improve the processes and keep employees safe, maintain the quality of product, and help the plant meet production goals.

Finance and Accounting

Composed of two sections, Materials and Financial, the mission of our Accounting Department is to provide accurate, timely and consistent reporting while ensuring proper compliance to operating standards. Materials Accounting is responsible for updating and maintaining ingredient, packing supply, and finished product balances. Financial Accounting analyzes reports, and estimates plant expenses, variable and overhead costs and handles payroll.

Human Resources

As a member of our Human Resources team at our Manufacturing facilities, you'll have a role in recruiting, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and safety.

Information Technology

As a member of our IT/IS team at our Manufacturing facilities, you'll assist in ensuring that the technical equipment used in the factory is running correctly by monitoring networks, computer hardware, operating systems, and applications as well as troubleshooting user issues.

Operations Performance

As a member of our Operations Performance team, you are part of a corporate and factory-based group focused on continuously improving every aspect of Product Supply. In this department you are essential to the improvement of Nestlé Purina's performance and competitiveness in the global market

Operations Planning

As a member of our Operations Planning team, you ensure that product is available to all customers in a timely manner while achieving the highest satisfaction from customers. This entails the coordination of plant production planning and inventory management ranging from raw material to finished product.


As a member of the Production team at our manufacturing facilities, you'll have a direct role on our finished product ranging from raw material handling to processing to finished product packing and palletizing.

Quality Assurance

As a member of our QA Team at our manufacturing facilities, you'll be involved with ensuring that preventative and systematic measures are met to meet and exceed customer expectations including testing in-process and finished product parameters versus established specifications, providing the right environment and conditions to meet quality expectations, establishing quality policies and procedures, complying with system and process audits and coordinating quality improvement initiatives.


As a member of our Safety Team, you strive to provide the safest working environment possible by maintaining the plant's behavior-based safety program, implementing Safety Training for all employees and contractors, ensuring that employees are properly certified for work equipment, and providing an environment where zero injury and lost time incidents are goals.

Supply Chain/Logistics

As part of the Logistics Team at our manufacturing facilities, you'll be part of a team comprised of Materials, Warehouse, and Transportation operations.
