We're a leader in the pet care industry, which means we're not only ahead in volume, profit and market share, we're at the forefront of innovative product and process development that's allowing us to lead the march in pushing pet nutrition forward. Through innovative product development and food science expertise, your larger team – the Technical Applications Group (TAG) – brings to life the flavors, shapes and textures often created in marketing.

As a Technical Applications Intern, you'll put everything you've learned in the classroom to work alongside 500+ scientists at Purina who are behind our pet food product innovations. What makes this internship different than others? The variety in your work and exposure you'll get to people, processes and projects will put you far ahead in your career. We'll provide you with the mentorship and the tools to assist in the development of new products, processes and major line extensions.

While much of your product development and continuous improvement work will be at Purina World Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, you'll also have the opportunity to travel to a few of our factories to see your projects in production – and eventually on the retail shelf. You can expect to be dressed in a lab coat on the production floor one day, and behind your desk or presenting in front of a small group another day. Your experience with us will be cross-functional, cross-cultural and it will lead you well beyond your 10-12 weeks with us. Are you tossing around the idea of pursuing further education? Or simply wondering 'what's next' after your time at Purina? Talk to us to learn more about your career path with Nestlé. Are you up to the dare? Working together, #WeStandTaller.
