The manufacturing department includes various factory and corporate support functions
such as maintenance, quality assurance, finance, HR, engineering, operations planning,
logistics and technical applications to lead and execute factory production requirements.
Career Paths You Can Take
- Production Manager — Lead production team leaders and their crews in
around-the-clock manufacturing operations at one of the Nestlé Purina factories.
Drive continuous improvement and manage day-to-day operations in the heart of the
plant
- Factory Manager — Promote improved factory performance by leading functional
departments in the plant to execute day-to-day operations and implement long-term
strategies. Act as the face of the Company to all factory staff and the surrounding
community
- Process Improvement Manager — Team with associates to measure and analyze
operational performance metrics. Drive performance improvement initiatives through
a collaborative industrial engineering approach
Skills You'll Gain

- Working with all levels of associates in cross-functional teams to solve problems

Management Trainee Opportunity
The management trainee program is typically an 18-24 month position in one of several
of our manufacturing facilities located in the United States. This is an exciting
opportunity for you to apply knowledge in your area of focus in a manufacturing
environment.
The main objective of this program is to provide trainees with the knowledge and
skills necessary within their discipline of focus to advance within
the Company. All trainees will be required to complete a training report during
the first 6 months of training.

Upon successful completion of the program, you can expect to relocate to any of
Nestlé Purina's 20 plant locations in the United States.
